Reviews
I have been shopping at this thrift store for years - I do like it - sometimes they have a nice selection sometimes they don’t.
I’ve purchased and donated many things from this store through out the years.
The two biggest cons about this store though is that the lines are long and slow and also their fitting rooms close a few hours early before the store closes. Very inconvenient for shoppers especially for people who work late.
This is a huge turn off!
They have small parking lot out front.
Train your employees better!!!! I was looking through clothes, about to buy some stuff when I accidentally dropped a hanger and the older gentleman who worked here starting making snarky remarks about how I have no manners and need to be trained better and starts arguing with me in front of the whole store! When I asked for a manager’s contact info, he refused to tell me his name and started screaming at me and telling me it’s was all about race to me. Furthermore, when I called, they told me there was no manager on duty. How is that even allowed?????
GREAT prices compared to other large thrift stores in the area and different color tags are discounted daily but the quality of the clothing has gone down a bit (e.g., stains, broken zipper, threadbare patches) compared to the previous store Georgia Thrift so inspect carefully. The racks also weren't organized by size when I was there, making it a little more time consuming to go through the clothing. Still lots of great stuff and hidden gems.
If you go to this location make sure you take your time especially at checkout because you will be rushed to pay and charged incorrectly. They will speak Spanish about you in front of you assuming you don’t know what they are saying. They also haven’t updated their verifone card reader to receive Apple Pay or contactless technology although the device has the features. Apparently no one read the manual. Not an ideal place to find reasonable prices but they do receive donations daily that are dumped in the front of the store in hotel size laundry bins. Throughout the store, you may find formalwear, bedsheets, formal work attire, a couple of worn out shoes, lots of outdated ties, and array of denim, very few purses, menswear, a couple of cups and plates, lamps without shades and wicker items. On the weekends you may see more of a mess and people trying things on in the aisles. They have 2 fitting rooms that aren’t very private. Depending on the day there will be additional discounts according to the colors of the balloons in the front of the store. Beware of your car and the neighborhood !!! They count their drawers 30 minutes prior to closing and turn off the lights only leaving the front lights on 15 minutes to closing while you’re still in the store. Don’t expect good customer service from the cashiers!!!
I love that this little thrift store full of goodies is so close and convenient. While the store is small and usually crowded, you can almost always count on finding a treasure. Pros: great prices, everyday sales, friendly staff, interesting housewares, parking lot, book selection is amazing and book prices are always $1.91 hardbacks & $.44 paperbacks. Cons: small store with narrow aisles that get blocked with carts, often children running around unsupervised, unorganized books, limited furniture selection, long and sometimes slow checkout lines. Still totally worth a visit!
Great finds the other day when they had 3 tag colors 50% off! I snagged five jackets, a skirt and one long 100% wool coat barely worn all for $30. There are treasures hidden within the racks!
There is always something going on in this store but I had to post this complaint. I stood line for at least five minutes. I watched three people walk past the line and went straight to the cashier posted. She looked at me and served the three ladies instead of sending them to the back of the line. The store was packed.
I reported the incident to the manager and his response was "so what". I told him it wasn't fair for all of us who waited and followed the rules. His response was " I can't do nothing." He didn't even bother to tell customers that they should wait to be called.
I'm know for sure I can donate and purchases stuff from other store. People shouldn't cry foul when they are committing the foul!!!
Got this "fly" Tahari suit jacket for $7! Perfect 4 the fundraiser I attended. Got compliments ☺️
